This fundraiser is to raise funds to award student scholarships for 2021/22 academic year. Due to COVID, the Alumni Association's traditional fundraising events were not conducted during 2020.

The goal of this giving campaign is to raise $50,000 or more for student scholarships. To achieve this goal, we are asking alumni & supporters to donate $250 or more to this effort; however, any donation will be appreciated. Payments can be made in installments.

You can support this campaign my making a tax deductible donation with the options below:

1) Online via the donate button

2) By check: make your check payable to AAMU Alumni Association, Inc. memo: Scholarship Giving Campaign and mail with the donation form to: AAMU Alumni Association, P.O. Box 1717, Normal, AL 35762,

3) By Zelle: send your payment to treasurer@aamualumni.org, include your class year, phone number and chapter in the memo box. Please email the donation form after submitting your Zelle payment to treasurer@aamualumni.org.

Donations can be paid in one payment or installments. Payments made by Zelle or check will take 5-7 business days to process after receipt.

Proceeds will be used to award student scholarships for 2021/22 academic year.

Yes, AAMU Alumni Association is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization approved by IRS.

Undergraduate students enrolled at AAMU for academic year, 2021/22 and incoming freshmen who satisfy the scholarship requirements located at www.aamualumni.org/scholarship.html.

The scholarship application and requirements are located @ https://www.aamualumni.org/scholarship.html and the application deadline is March 15, 2021

No, anyone can support and donate to the giving campaign.

This campaign will be available online until April 30, 2021.

Yes, scholarship donations can continue to be made online, via Zelle or mailed to: AAMU Alumni Association, P.O. Box 1717, Normal, AL 35762

Proceeds from this giving campaign will be awarded to students as scholarships by the Alumni Association. The Alumni Scholarship Endowment is administrated by the University Foundation and scholarships are awarded from the interest earned on the endowment principal.
